世界和平婦女會(WFWP)成立已逾20年，於世界各國設立分會及辦事處，在全球50多國致力於慈善救助及教育計畫。

自1997年迄今，連續受聘為聯合國經濟暨社會理事會具最高諮商地位(General Status)之NGO。

(全世界4045個UN NGOs，僅有142個NGOs具此最高資格)

WFWP的活動分四個主要領域：

1.重建家庭倫理，以穩固家庭作為世界和平的基石。

2.消除貧窮與服務計畫。

3.與聯合國以及其它國際NGO合作和平與調停工作，並舉辦跨國和平橋典禮。

4.培力全球女性領導者。

2011年，林理俐理事長受命擔任世界和平婦女會亞洲會長，

三年多來集結了台灣及亞洲各國女企業家的愛心與關懷，

去到亞洲低度開發地區，深入窮鄉僻壤，幫助亟需協助的人，亦因此結識了亞洲各國的傑出女企業家。

承上，基於本會創立目的，超越種族與國家的藩籬，

2013年本會成立「全球婦女和平網絡」(Global Women’s Peace Network, 簡稱GWPN)，

讓女性運動邁向新的階段與願景；2014年成功舉辦GWPN台灣成立週年大會，

以「尊重生命、利他分享、傾聽溝通、反對暴力、團結合作」作為核心價值，

構建一個策略工具和資源共享的平台。2015年本次會議邀請亞洲及兩岸四地成功女企業家親自分享他們的成功經驗，

同時成立「亞洲女企業家和平聯盟」(Inauguration of "Asian Women Entrepreneurs’ Peace Alliance",簡稱AWEPA)，

呼應CSW與APEC倡議以提升女性經濟力，擴大女性經濟參與並鼓勵女性創業，

積極發揚女性企業家創業精神；同時連結亞洲及兩岸四地之女性企業家關心人群、參與社會公益及關懷弱勢。

國際總會與各國分會共同致力於協助聯合國達成千禧年目標，

對於飽受貧病及戰禍的非洲、中東地區援助物資糧食外，

通過婦女技職訓練，建立學校、教育兒童、青少年，協助他們自主的能力。
