On June 24, President Hou Mei-hua of WFWP Taiwan received the award from President Lai Ching-te during the national ceremony. In her remarks, she stated: “We are deeply honored and grateful to the Ministry of Justice and other supporting agencies for recognizing our enduring commitment to youth drug prevention. For decades, our board members, educational consultants, expert teams, staff, and lecturers have worked tirelessly and wholeheartedly toward this mission. By developing innovative, age-appropriate learning materials and interactive teaching methods, we have strived to create an environment where students are genuinely engaged and empowered to make wise choices.”

WFWP Taiwan will continue to expand its HIV/AIDS and drug prevention programs on school campuses, foster stronger cross-sector partnerships, and embed preventive education into everyday life and community culture. Through these sustained efforts, the organization seeks to establish a comprehensive and sustainable national movement for prevention—grounded in compassion, education, and empowerment.
