At the 2025 Outstanding Anti-Drug Award Ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Women’s Federation for World Peace Taiwan (WFWP Taiwan) was honored with the Outstanding Anti-Drug Organization Award in recognition of its long-standing commitment to HIV/AIDS and drug prevention education. The award highlighted WFWP Taiwan’s significant contributions to public health and youth education, becoming one of the most memorable moments of the ceremony.

Guided by its mission — “Empowering Women for Peace, Inheriting True Love, Uniting Women’s Power, and Promoting Harmony in Families and Society” — WFWP Taiwan has proactively promoted preventive education in schools across the nation. Its consistent efforts have earned widespread recognition from government agencies, educators, students, and local communities.

Since its establishment, WFWP Taiwan has conducted tens of thousands of campus outreach sessions on HIV/AIDS and drug prevention, reaching and educating hundreds of thousands of young people. Through interactive programs such as quiz competitions and creative awareness campaigns, the organization has actively engaged students and deepened their understanding of these critical issues.
Furthermore, WFWP Taiwan regularly organizes seminars and professional training workshops on HIV, Sexuality, and Drug Prevention for educators, parents, youth leaders, and community representatives. These cross-sector initiatives aim to foster collaboration among schools, families, and communities to support youth development, instill positive moral values, and promote meaningful social engagement.
The organization’s multifaceted approach addresses issues such as pornography, risky sexual behavior, and drug abuse, while advocating for the rights and dignity of individuals living with HIV and promoting gender equality and healthy, respectful relationships.
